Lovin’ In The Oven

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Here’s an easy pizza recipe for those on a time crunch.

Below are the items that you’ll be needing:

ingredients

Serving Size: 2 people

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

1 Tsp. White Sugar

1 Tsp. Salt (Not pictured above)

2 1/2 C. Flour (We used Wheat Flour)

1 (.25 oz) Active Dry Yeast

1 C. Hot Water

1 pkg. of Cheese per Preference

1 Jar of Sauce per Preference (We have two since we split our pizza)

Toppings of Choice (We used mushrooms, pepperonis, chicken, and banana peppers)

Let’s Go:

Preheat oven to 450 F (don’t know how to do that little degrees sign…)

Start off by mixing the yeast and sugar in the hot water in a medium sized bowl. Let the mixture sit about 10 minutes. Then add in the olive oil, flour, and salt. Mix until it’s all nice and doughy. (Note: Using your hands will make mixing the dough a lot easier.) Let the dough sit for 5 minutes. Next roll your dough out, with a rolling pin, onto a floured surface. We decided to bring honor to V-day by making our dough heart shaped… along with our pepperonis ❤

Next up, pile on the sauce and all your toppings and you’re set to bake!! Put the pizza in the oven for 15~20 minutes and VOILA!! Delicious homemade pizza without the hour wait for delivery. Yum!

Here’s what our half white/ half red sauce pizza looked like.

 Happy Eating on Valentine’s Day

Who needs a boo thang when you have pizza.

Love,
